Spent the morning at an Edible Garden Workshop. Such a lot of great information.
We have three small courtyard gardens and what grows well is determined by the sun. I have espaliered an apricot tree and would like more fruit trees.
Trying not to throw away food so bread and butter pudding has become a regular in this house.
And baked apples for variety.
The roses bravely bloom in this constant heat. This red Pierre de Ronsard is like a tree. The stems can be a metre long.

What a beautiful rose. Six blooms on such a long stem. Will Pierre de Ronsard roses grow in the USA? How tall do they grow? Where could I but one?
Hello Cindy and welcome to my blog. I am in Australia so growing conditions are probably different. I have seen photos of the pink Pierre de Ronsard on American sites so suggest you try your local gardening centre. This one is a standard rose and is now the size of a tree. It has five or six blooms on every stem. Good luck! x
